Go beyond tours. Come with us on a private, personal walking and food experience that gets you inside Hong Kong. Walks by professionals, not tour guides. Just three guests, maximum. There's no other company like us in Hong Kong, and we're proud to be recognized by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Time Out, the Luxe Guide and the Chicago Tribune. If your time in Hong Kong is short, why waste a minute on a cookie-cutter group tour? Get personal, and learn about Hong Kong and what makes it tick from award winning professionals, food and travel journalists. We work with you to design a Hong Kong experience that's perfect for you. If you like culture and history, then it's back streets, hidden temples, old Chinese neighborhoods--even a haunted house! If you love Chinese food, then get ready to indulge, because that's our specialty. Hong Kong has tens of thousands of restaurants and noodle shops, but we've located all the best and we're sharing our secrets with you! (We speak and read Cantonese, so no worries about Chinese-only menus.). Whatever your profession or interest, we can craft a program that will give you the useful information and local intelligence you need to feel at home in Asia's most cosmopolitan city. Our director and your host, Daisann McLane, has unparalleled experience in finding and getting to the heart of the world's great places. She's an award winning travel journalist with National Geographic Traveler, and before that spent six years roaming the world as the New York Times' "Frugal Traveler" columnist. She fell in love with Hong Kong: she wants you to fall in love with this great city, too.

My husband and I did 2 tours with Little Adventures Hong Kong when we were there for a conference in May (2016). Both were fantastic and eye-opening and fascinating and we cannot speak highly enough of our guides Daisann and Daniel. We will absolutely be going back if we're ever back in the neighbourhood.

We had a fabulous time walking and talking with Daniel who was incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the time perfectly to our brief for some academic food culture experiences and on trend HK eats. We would highly recommend Little Adventures.

We are first-timers to Hong Kong and much appreciated being referred to Little Adventures in Hong Kong. They did not disappoint. Our first tour was a walking tour in the Wan Chai neighborhood. We learned about the unique culture of Hong Kong and how that influences food and everyday life. Owner Daisann McLain is knowledgable, articulate, energetic. She created a... More

Many years ago (OK, in early 2010) I spent most of the day wandering around Hong Kong Island with Daisann from Little Adventures in Hong Kong. We ate all kind of tasty dishes and I came away with a better knowledge of the history, food, and culture of the place than I ever would have had I tried to do... More

The food tour that I had on Saturday was a highlight of the trip. From the tea at the correspondents club, the amazing diner street food, and the amazing Dim Sum, it was all amazing and gives you unique perspective for the remainder of the trip. Thanks Daisann, for a wonderful experience and your knowledge of the Hong Kong culture... More

The Sunday in Wan Chai Group Walk with Little Adventures in Hong Kong was a fun and interesting way to explore the city. I am a sucker for walking tours, and this tour didn't disappoint. My tour guide, Daniel, was insightful and shared a lot of information about Hong Kong culture. I appreciated the random food samplings along the way... More

Having lived in Hong Kong when our children were tiny, we returned with our (now 30 year old) daughter and her fiancee to revisit old haunts. We love walking tours and our daughter found little Adventures in Hong Kong. Laura was our guide and she took us on a fascinating and illuminating trek through Shau Kei Wan, then on the... More

I booked a tour with Little Adventures to celebrate my first paycheck after accepting a new job. Only after requesting reservations, however, did I realize the expense: $115 an hour...not including meals! So I did some research of Little Adventures and read several positive reviews. I also came across some negative ones and was impressed with the thorough and personalized... More

Thanks so much for your positive review. Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
