This pavilion is located at Victoria Peak. It is a short walk from the tram station and Peak Galleria. It provides an excellent view and is free. If you get there early, you will have this place to yourself.

Today we went to the Peak Sky Terrace and then walked down to Lions. There really is no advantage to pay for the Sky Terrace, this is as good and had less people. Only a few minutes from the Upper Peak Tram Terminus.

Great free view of the city. No real need to enter the paid platform on top of the tram line terminal. I tried both.

We caught an early Peak Tram and were at the terminal by 8.30am. There weren't many people there. We followed the signs to the Lions Pavillion which offers beautiful views of the Hong Kong skyline and luckily for us there was no one around. Although...More

A lovely pavilion that offers great views of Hong Kong Harbour and of the city skyline. The pavilion is shady and very pleasant on a hot day. We did not encounter a crowd and were able to enter the pavilion quite freely. There is also...More

This is worth a visit to to the top, only if its a clear day, otherwise you wont see much and will just waste your time looking around pricey shops.

As most people have said, some great views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline for free. For the experience, going up the Sky Platform is still worth it, but this is a great alternative

If you don’t want to pay to go up Peak Tower (and I would say it’s worth it) after going up on the Peak Tram, you get a breathtaking view of the Hong Kong skyline for free from the Lion’s Pavilion.

When you exit Central MTR follow the signs towards Hong Kong MTR, I think we walked through a tunnel or over a pedestrian footbridge. You do not go all the way to Hong Kong MTR you need to exit towards "Exchange Square". It... More

You can walk, it'll takes about 90 minutes. Take the Mid-Level Escalators, it brings you, as its name suggests, to the mid level (passing SoHo, great). From the terminus you can walk :-)
