When you are at the Peak you can walk to here and enjoy the view too. Its not a must go but if you are up anywhere you can make your own opinion.

when you are up on the Peak you have a choice of several paths to walk along. The walk to the Lion's Pavilion is very nice and relatively quiet given the number of people up on the Peak. The view from there to Victoria Harbour...More

Worth paying to go on the observation deck, it was better then the free areas. It was just that bit higher. We waited for a nice day to go and it was definitely worth it.

Don't pay to view on the Sky Terrace - the view is the same from here! It is on 2 levels so if you are hot in the sun, just walk down the steps and enjoy the fantastic view in the shade

You can walk, it'll takes about 90 minutes. Take the Mid-Level Escalators, it brings you, as its name suggests, to the mid level (passing SoHo, great). From the terminus you can walk :-)
