It was jumping, there were stalls with fresh vegetables and fruit but mainly stalls selling meat (pork in the main) but every part you can imagine or would rather not. The street is quite narrow and to add to the mayhem the tram runs right...More

It’s very different from the touristy night markets at Temple Street and Ladies’ Market, and for that reason, might not be for everyone. If you’d like a glimpse at daily Hong Kong life, though, this is a great and convenient place to visit. Probably a...More

I wouldn't say this is a tourist street for buying goods (depends on what country you are from), however it's a great example of a local street with the ability to see how locals do their shopping. Reached this via the ferry at Hung Hom...More

Great market with lots of fresh food (fish/meat/vegetables). Small stalls with great on the go food to eat. We took the tram from here towards the city centre. A great experience.

This area reflects on what Hong Kong would've been like maybe 50 yrs ago with meat, fish & vegetable markets on one side of the road and clothing etc markets & restaurants on the other. The tram runs right along the left side of the...More

At North Point, you can find an open wet market sprawling on and around Chun Yeung Street. This historic street market has been bustling for over a hundred years, providing a glimpse in to the old-school way of buying your daily veggies, fruits, meat and...More
