Photography tours in Hong Kong. In both the natural landscapes, of old indigenous villages, in the New Territories or the backstreet markets of Kowloon, which guarantee a great photographic day. Jackie comes from Christchurch, New Zealand, where she ran a busy wedding and portrait studio for over 12 years. Now based in Sai Kung, New Territories, Hong Kong, her projects have broadened to include travel, local magazine articles, Orangutans in Southern Borneo to still life in her backyard.

Our family visited Hong Kong in September, our sons (age 17 and 13) both have a keen interest in photography, and it was their first visit to HK. Our Tour with Jackie was fabulous…informative, professional, interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. We visited the streets and markets in Kowloon. In fact our boys said the Tour and Disneyland were the highlights for... More

With limited time in Hong Kong a friend recommended Jackie Peers as a good photography guide. And she was excellent! In the one day we covered markets, temples and went out to the New Territories. Jackie was not only a good photography tutor but very knowledgeable about the history of Hong Kong. Highly recommended

Jackie Peers Photography tour of southern Bornea was fabulous. Jackie led 6 clients on an amazing journey through the jungle by boat to take some of the best pictures i have taken (on purpose!). A whizz at iphone photos, i was clueless with my borrowed Nikon D80!! Jackie patiently explained the basics then more and more concepts in photography. It... More

Jackie is a great teacher. Enthusiastic about both the city and countryside, she will take you to interesting places, and make sure that you understand what all the features on your camera are for. No use buying a good camera and not fully utilizing it! Formerly based in Hong Kong, Jackie now comes back periodically to do photography tours and... More

A few months ago, My daughter, Son-in-Law and me spent a wonderful day with Jackie. I used to do my own black and white developing and printing. Jackie took us to the fishing island of Tap Muen and really taught us a lot about the capabilities of our digital cameras and how to take advantage of them. For me, the... More

I recently spent the day with Jackie Peers learning more about photography while trailing with her through the streets and markets in Kowloon. It was one of the best days I've had in a long, long time. Jackie is not only very knowledgeable and professional as a photographer, she is also patient and inspiring. She taught me so many things,... More

We have done a few photography sessions with Jackie Peers with the last one being at Lei Yu Mun. We have opted to do small groups and Jackie manages to spend adequate time with everyone and determining what our skill levels are and what sort of photographs we want to achieve. We all walk away feeling that we know our... More

I did the Kowloon markets tour with Jackie, and it was a great experience from the first to the last minute! As others said before, setting up a date and finding the meeting point was really easy. First of all, Jackie had a look at my equipment and asked many questions in order to find out more about my goal... More

We spent a really good day with Jackie in Lei Yu Mun. We are both of different levels of experience and knowledge and Jackie accommodated us and the other group members really well. We both felt that by the end of the day we had learnt stuff and left determined to build on our experience.

Was a little apprehensive for this trip, you know, have a new camera, don't know much about it! well I need'nt have worried. Was totally put at ease from the start by Jackie. We four on the tour) headed for a colourful old fishing village Lei Yue Mun, and virtually straight away I learnt something new. Jackie's friendly unassuming manner,... More
