Welcome to Hong Kong, and thank you for considering me as your private guide. Hong Kong is a city still full of traditions, cutting edge structures, a density that will blow your mind and inhabited by steadfastly strong and enlightening people. As a huge bonus… it has some of the tastiest (and inexpensive) food in the world too.

I’m have had both my children in Hong Kong, and am now in my seventh year here. When I moved, my goal was never to be an outsider in this city, and so I spent the time (trying) to learn the language and all about its history and people. Sharing these insights with overseas guests and being your friend in Hong Kong is what I am most passionate about.

I was lucky enough to receive my Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2014, 2015 and now 2016 having done over nearly 500 tours now in this city, I mostly work with families, but love to help individuals, groups and businesses as well and pride myself on making your trip as bespoke as possible.

Book on one of my private tours and let me take the lead on this trip!

Please note I am NOT part of the Global Greeter Network.

Our private tour with Amy was absolutely first class! She graciously met us at our hotel lobby and proceed on a customized tour we had defined via email. I was traveling with a few family members and we were curious to experience the "real" Hong Kong. Our day included a busy schedule: - Visit to Wong Tai Sin to see... More

What do you do if you're visiting Hong Kong for the first time, will be in town for only one day, are on business with limited time -- but still want to get the best possible exposure to this terrific city? Take a tour with Amy! This was exactly my scenario. I was thrilled to have the chance to visit... More

We (four of us) booked Hong Kong Greeters for a full day tour with a van in mid-February 2017 and our guide Amy, who owns Hong Kong Greeters, was excellent. Amy drove the van and she knew well her way around the city. Our day was filled with visiting a number of sites in Wan Chai, Kowloon and the New... More

We booked our day with Amy following an excellent personal recommendation. There were 3 of us and Amy met us at our hotel (totally punctual), we then went via The Peninsula Hotel to Tim Sha Tsui station where she sorted our Octopus cards which we then used throughout our trip. We headed to Mo Temple and Hollywood Road Park, took... More

Three of us took a tour with Amy on a recent trip to Hong Kong - despite the fact we had been there previously, I am so glad we did! Amy was a fabulous tour leader who knew her stuff and showed us so much more of Hong Kong than we had previously seen. Amy is delightful company and is... More

Our group of 6 took a private tour with Amy, which I would highly recommend. She took us all over Hong Kong and was very flexible though out the day. She even stopped mid-tour to take 2 people who were tired back to the hotel. She took us to a great spot for dim sum for lunch and even added... More

Amy met us at our hotel near the new Whampoa (黃埔 / Wòngbou) Subway Station where we bought our Octopus travel cards for the day (HK$150 at time of writing), then we were off to the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple complex - primarily Taoist, but with elements of Confucianism and Buddhism, too. It's a very scenic site... More

There is a reason Amy has so many 5 star reviews - and that's because she's such a wonderful host. She's everything you want your host to be, friendly, enthusiastic, engaged, attentive, welcoming, fun. And passionate and knowledgeable about Hong Kong and it's young history. We were travelling as a small family, just myself and my two young teenagers, and... More

This was a definite "Bucket list" scenario! We had an amazing time! Stunning views, unlimited drinks, great boat, nice food, friendly people, whats not to love! We were in the heart of HK harbour enjoying a non-obstracted view of Chinese New Year fireworks in an intimate atmosphere (hardly 40 people). Amy kept communication very informative and very professional. I really... More

Amy picked my wife and I up from the cruise terminal (with our luggage!) and took us to the top "must sees" of Hong Kong. She was very knowledgeable and personable and she was tolerant of this "older" couple (75, 69) who walk a bit slower and need to use the restroom pretty often!! She was fluent in the Cantonese... Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
