Small nice park

The park is very nice but it is small. A good place to take a quick walk in the morning or evening. Some activities for children.

This park has a Chinese theme or style. Essentially a rectangle park with seperate areas that are woven together. There is a good size children's playground, a covered seating area, a pond with fish and water feature and lastly an area for simple exercise as I saw this morning. Good shade area and seating which is missing in some parks.... More

It was my first time in Hong Kong and we arrived just in time for Chinese New Year. It was really cold, winter-ish cold and we were able to book a small flat on Hollywood Road in Hong Kong. Hollywood Road is superb. It has this European feel to it, aside from all the Europeans who were on vacation there.... More

All parks in Hong Kong are absolutely great. I love it and enjoy to hang out to relax a little bit. However I prefer to do his in the bigger parks. Hollywood Road Park is a small park. It is nice to visit when you are located nearby, but I wouldn't recommend you to go there especially to visit the... More

This pleasant but otherwise unremarkable park is the place where the British military formally took possession of Hong Kong Island on 26 January 1841. Simply because it was a relatively flat field in the most populated village of the island. No sign of this episode in the park, which is resolutely Chinese in style: pond with koi and tortoises, huge... More

This is a nice addition to Hollywood Road and all the antique shops. Somewhere for children to play away from the traffic and somewhere to eat although there are lots of restaurants for choice nearby. For information don't make a special journey :)

Situated on Hollywood road, this park is a beautiful little area surrounded by high rises. if you are in the area then it is a lovely place to stop in. The pond in the middle of this small park has many turtles and fish. There is undercover seating too which is good for when it is raining.

Great little park, plenty of seating. Large pond with fish and turtles. There is a area which has pebbles set in the concrete, the locals come here and walk round in circles on this. Apparently it is good for you, for me it was impossible, I could walk maybe 1.5m! It was pure torture! Great park otherwise for a rest... More

The pond in the middle of this small park has many turtles and koi - great to watch. Undercover seating useful if it is raining. A pleasant spot for a change of pace.

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
