SItuated on the edge of the University of Hong Kong campus, this museum is very much in the old style, showing off artefacts that have been held for decades. Although there is a current display of modern painting/photographs of the mountains, landscapes and gorges of...More

I visited this museum with a friend who had heard they had a special exhibit of porcelains. The exhibit was excellent, with very good explanations of the various items, some of which were very old and delicate. In addition we wandered through the permanent collection,...More

Reaching this museum is pretty easy now with the extension of the MTR to cover the HKU campus. The museum has some nice items on display, and the special exhibitions are particularly strong and interesting (three ongoing ones when I visited, all with nice accompanying...More

If you find yourself by HKU, definitely stop by their museum. It's small-but it's free-and the collection is truly eclectic, covering centuries and topics-it turned out that I had flown halfway across the globe to see the Kinsey African American Art and History Collection, something...More

Located inside a small historical building, near to the entrance of University. Chinese antiques, artefacts in one building. Regularly changed modern art exhibitions at the next building. Intersting pictures.
