Beautiful, quiet serene place located in the middle of the city. Small zoo with many exhibits. Great way to relax from shopping and sight seeing.

This is surprisingly Victorian for Hong Kong, and not in a good way. I suppose nothing appeared to be suffering but the enclosures were definitely small, particularly when considering how big the garden actually is. It had little educational information on either animals nor plants,...More

I came here to escape the heat of the city, and it didn't disappoint me. I had come here once long time ago as a child, taken by my father. That time it was called soldier head garden, probably because it was founded by an...More

Reached here via bus 12. A good variety of animals and birds in the area. No complains since it was free of charge.

Nothing crazy exciting here. Just a nice place to take a relaxing stroll in the park. The birds and primates were fun to watch.

We stumbled upon this free park while in HK. Gorgeous park with a small zoo (hence why it's free-- so don't set your expectations too high). Awesome variety of primates, including orangutans and gibbons. Nice way to escape the city and just enjoy the peace...More

The botanic garden wasnt too big and when I went here, I couldn't see the meerkats.. But, I enjoyed seeing different types of monkeys! Note: wear long sleeves or jeans, was bitten horribly by the mosquitoes as earlier on the day it was raining

It is small zoo with a limited variety of primates (Monkeys, Orangutans, Turtles etc.). There is also and aviary with a variety of birds. Well maintained premises with all required conveniences. A variety of trees all around give the feeling of walking around in a...More

with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The

hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up

late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of

I am sorry to tell you it is not a real zoo as you would expect. however, it is free so you could still go there to have a look. It won't be too interesting in my mind.

Free entry. It's a public park. Take MTR to Admiralty and follow signs towards Peak Tram, then up Garden Road. It's an uphill walk but worth it for the peaceful respite from the hustle of Central. On site café serves hot and... More

There are no Pandas in the HK Zoo (here you placed your question); at Ocean Park they have giant and red pandas and shows that they get fed (the red ones).
