My family and I stayed 2 nights at the Nathan Hotel located in this area. Many shops along the street, mostly Chinese Medical Halls and restaurants. Good spot to experience the local cultures and lifestyles.

Area steeped in history with many spaces and buildings to absorb the atmosphere. An area to explore for those tired of glitzy TST and brash Mong Kok.

It is an old area with sleezy allies. Please do not visit during the evening. The inner allies are popular for all sorts of criminal activities. During daytime, it is OK if you need food or have particular shopping to do as there are a number of specialty shops.

Is better to visit at night because the temple streets only open at night. Is very convenient to go to Yaumatei by Subway. We got out from the Exit C, Yaumatei MTR station, there were many ppl queing for the clayport rice, we tried the clayport rice and it was delicious. Then we visited the Temple street which is night... More

A long shopping strip in HK, the only noticeable building is a red brick cathedral. All the shops and commercial buildings are just the same as in Nathan road or Mong Kok. I didn’t see much fancy restaurants in this area. Must go further south to Tsim Tsa Chui to find good place for food.

I enjoyed this area quite a bit. It's packed but not Mong Kok packed with a lot of vendors of cool stuff. If you like anime figures and stuff you can find a hobby mall here with like 2 or 3 floors of that stuff. As well as other neat retail shops in the area.

I would love to comeback and roam the streets of Yaumatei again. There are a lot of beautiful things to see here. The place is accessible although the streets are busy but it was an amazing experience for me.
