You can find a lot of options in this area for shopping and eat local/traditional food. In addition there is a wholesale fruit market. You can arrive easy with mtr.

Was impressed with the meal staff are very friendly and it's clean Basic but good value just be careful if you order an extra drink after your main order the cost goes up from day $3 per can to $23

Quite a lot to see in Yau Ma Tei, I usually go to the Fruit Market in Yau Ma Tei because it is a wholesale market and sells cheaper.

My family and I stayed 2 nights at the Nathan Hotel located in this area. Many shops along the street, mostly Chinese Medical Halls and restaurants. Good spot to experience the local cultures and lifestyles.
