A district which has some very old and very modern architecture. The old town sprawls from the MTR station all the way to the industrial buildings in the old manufacturing districts. The new town is a mdern plan of town planning centred on the Tsuen Wan town hall and civic centre. Modern skyscrapers form the skyline. As much local market... More

So this is a bigger better kwai fong MTR. There is everything here. The food in the area is good. The malls are good. There's tons of little stores with all kinds of goodies. If you are in the area I'd definitely stop by.

From the hotel, Tsuen Wan was a very short bus journey. At first l found it to be the perfect gateway to the whole of Hong Kong, but after exploring the back streets towards Tsuen Wan West, l found some amazingly cheap resturants and eating houses, each with their own unique taste and style. A must for any hungry tourist... More

Tsuen Wan is apparently not a tourist area but with convenient traffic. There are two MTR stations, Tsuen Wan Station (Tsuen Wan Line) and Tsuen Wan West Station (West Rail Line). It takes you 12 min to TST East and 15 min to Hung Hom... More

I can find small restaurants and shops where I can taste or buy something traditional in Public Square Street. However, I can also stroll and windown shop in modern malls in the reclaimed land near Tsuen Wan West MTR station.

Tsuen Wan is the first station of the Tsuen Wan Line of the MTR. The are only a few hotels and the shopping malls there are quite big. Other than that, there is nothing special for a tourist to visit, so this is definitely not a tourist attraction. This place is only for people to live, but it still shows... More

Definitely not a tourist attraction, but shows you a different side of Hong Kong. Very quiet area and you can really catch a glimpse of life in HK. I've stayed in a lot of different areas in HK (i.e. Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Causeway, Central), and I always come back to Tsuen Wan when I want to recharge.

Tsuen Wan is at the final stop of MTR Tsuen Wan line, there is nothing much to see as a tourist. Don't bother wasting your time going unless you need to see a friend or relative who lives in Tsuen Wan.
