It is an impressive waterfront despite at the time of my visit a lot of construction going on. The HK island skyline is very impressive from TST.

Just to walk around and take in the river starwalk is good. There is a lot of new construction going on but it is still worthwhile.

I always enjoy an early morning run there. Very peaceful, quiet, safe and not many people out early in the morning. There is some construction going on now which causes some detours on and off the Promenade but once the construction is finished it will be back to normal. During the day there are many tourist. Not a time to... More

Located on the mainland of Hong Kong, this is a scenic walk and a nice, read calmer, area of the city. A good spot for taking a break or taking some photos- there's places to sit and to have a picnic on sunny days.

Fantastic views out over the harbour and lots of shops and restaurants to visit. A large part of the area does seem to be undergoing construction work at the moment, which does mar the experience slightly. Certainly worth a stroll if you are staying in the area.

It's very pleasant to walk along the prom looking out to sea watching the ship's big and small. When you have had enough walking you can make use,of one of the m a ny benches and let the day go by. There is a new hotel Kerry with a rooftop bar you can also make use of and of course... More

It's perhaps more of a ritual than a grand light show. Nothing really spectacular but there are more pros than cons. It's great to just sit there and end the day watching the sun go down. Take your own food and drinks along. For a landscape photographer depending where you are from this is probably the best blue hour cityscape... More

Went on a Sunday afternoon, many people taking fotos and videos of the view towards HK Central. Dramatic skyline filled with skyscrapers across the water and of other tall buildings looking down the bay. Regular boats take you across to HK island in approx 10mins.

It's one thing to gaze across Victoria Harbor to Hong Kong Island in the movies or on TV, but being there is stunning. We walked from the Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hotel all the way to the old Depot Bell Tower and back after dinner one evening. We would recommend such a stroll as a "must do" whenever in Hong Kong

We've visited this place in previous trips but this year we tried to get there, we saw signs that indicated the place was closed. There is a part that is open, close to the clock where you can take great pics of the skyline
