A small quaint museum that is a short walk from the Tsuen Wan MTR station. It was once a fortified hakka village and as you enter, you will see the old houses which now serves as individual rooms for the exhibits. It is not as...More

An interesting glimpse into the late 19th century, complete with artefacts, including a playable musical instrument! It was deserted when we visited which made for good photos. Very much worth a visit.

A good glimpse into village life in Hong Kong from the late 19th century to the early 70's. Its really easy to get here via the MTR, and post-visit, the surrounding environs offers all the conveniences without the maddening crowds of downtown Hong Kong.

Informative and well-kept. Although small, it gave an excellent idea of farming life in a walled village in the 18th century to the 1970s. Pleasant park setting in the midst of Tsuen Wan. Only a short stroll from Tsuen Wan MTR and the Galleria mall....More

Lovely spot within easy walk of L'hotel Nina Exhibition Centre. Took kids of ages 1, 8 & 10. Elder ones learnt a bit and loved the exhibition hall. Was tricky with a pram as many steps up and down.... maybe suggest we'd have been better...More

This place is a beautiful architectural contrast to the HK Skyscrapers and modern life. This place is easy to reach via MTR. Worth a visit and it is free.
