Interesting history and a beautiful place to visit. Calm and serene in an otherwise frantic place. Take a couple of hours to fully do it justice.

We really enjoyed our visit to this park. it is a most serene place to visit and is kept wonderfully well. If our trip would have been longer, we would have visited again and will certainly do so when we return to HK

This is an amazing park. It's not exactly easy to find and it's sort of off the beaten path even from the MTR or bus. However, it's well worth going to. Don't get it confused with the recreation park next door though! This is well worth a trip, in my opinion!

To reach there, take the MTR to Lok Fu and either walk there or take a short taxi ride. Just note the hilly terrain. This area is spacious and is a classical local housing estate. Somehow, there is a taxi resting point at this location, so don't attempt to ask for service. Formerly, a sleazy area, it is now a... More

Love the Thai food and local culture. When i think of the walled city i think of thai food. This area over the years has become a large Thai community and there are many local great Thai food hole in the wall places. The smaller the better usually. The bigger glitzy restaurants are the local tourist t traps, still good... More

Kowloon Walled Park is a wonderful destination with a great story and beautiful Chinese ornamental gardens. Its on the site of the infamous Kowloon Walled City, which itself grew up within the walls of the original walled village. Theres a small educational exhibition set up within some of the original and restored buildings which tells the full story. Theres also... More

I prefer to visit historical places whenever I travel.  This is the reason why I came to visit this park.  Inside the park, there is an original 1847 Qing Dynasty Yamen Building which is now the Park Office。 It was the administrative office and residence of the Assistant Magistrate of Kowloon.   After the Qing officials departed in 1899, the Yamen... An interesting, pleasant and tranquil place. We went to Hau Wong Temple which is situated pretty much across the road beforehand. The temple is small but with interesting wall displays. The walled garden itself is a little difficult to find as you end up going through another park with a large children's play area to get there. Once you get... More

Worth finding this park. Lok Fu closest mtr. Not too far away just head to the parks and follow the signs. It's very peaceful and relaxing. Nice scenic beauty and history. Very enjoyable. Free wifi
