We were surprised to find such a large mosque in central Kowloon during our stroll along Nathan road. It was busy with devotees conducting or finishing evening prayers. We managed to take a peek at its interior which reveal a prayer hall. We learnt that the existing structure was a replacement of the original built as early as 1896. We... More

My friend and me were just hanging out in the area, when the imam noticed me looking at the mosque and invited us in to take a look at the building and a prayer ceremony. I felt that the short tour was very informative and modern. Arriving to Hong Kong from China, it was definitely refreshing to see a massive... More

For Calm and peaceful experience right in bustling HONGKONG. It is definitely the place to visit to make your mind calm and peaceful. Everyone of us face series of challenges in our lives and it is very easy to slip into tunnel vision and focus on what's going wrong at the expense of noticing why's going well.... Go to this... This is one of the things in Hong Kong you probably think is a surprise. The are so many Muslims in Hong Kong that there is a big Mosque too. Very close to Chung King Mansion the main base of Muslims. At prayer times this part of town can be very congested and busy.

I don't know if there was a seminar or an event at this time of day when I passed by but they even willingly took some pics for me. The building... More

Kowloon Masjid is amazing, I would recommend you go upstairs it's very calm and serene, staff are friendly and it's open to everyone for a visit or pray. Friday prayer is busy but well organised. you also have halal food outside as well as restaurants. I Highly recommend.
