This is a beautiful location. Very tranquil and spiritual. Although it does get busy it doesn't feel it and you don't feel rushed. Beautiful sculptures and wooden framed building this really feels like I expected China to be.
Even the weather was not so good in the day we visited, the whole environment is still very peaceful and well planned. Worth to visit for the landscape design and architecture.

We visited the Monastery to view the Big Buddha and enjoyed a Vegetarian lunch which was very good,a great range of food and very enjoyable,after we visited the gift shops and then back on the Gondalas and back to city,a good day

Hi, Merlin. I am sorry to inform you that the Monastery does not allow visitors without advance booking currently. You may enter the website of "Tsz Shan Monastery" and select either individual booking (up to 6 persons) and group booking (20 to 60 persons). You also have to provide your ID numbers, cell phone numbers and e-mail address for the booking. The Monastery will send confirmation and details of the visit to your cell phone and by e-mail.
