This place is great! You can see the beautiful pond in the middle of the park, then you can also see the pagodas around pond! Yes! Many elders come here to relax and enjoy their life by a game of cards, chinese chess, or some other chit chats. Overall, you are going to love climbing and scaling the mountain.

The colors were gorgeous! We went there on early December and the trees were still glorious looking. I guess earlier during the fall you can get to see more trees full of colorful leaves, it wasn't that crowded and honestly we got there pretty late, we should have spent there the whole day is well worth it. Price is cheap... More

It's a good place to see maple. People always visit in autumn. I went there with my roommates and we had fun there

When coming to Qixia, try to remember that it's a temple on a mountain. If you have any more expectations than this, then you will surely be disappointed. The people there are friendly and if you go on weekdays there typically aren't many people there.

There is a very famous temple-Qi Xia Temple beneath the hill, it's more than 1500 years old now, and regarded to be one of the top 4 temple in China. Many visitors come here during Nov.20 to Dec.10... More

Been a few times now and not far from the Xianlin area of town. There are a few shops selling Buddhist accessories and a nice clothing shops as well... More

It is worth making the effort to get to the mountain area. There are plenty of good walks up and around the mountain. The views of the Yangtze, from the summit are excellent, and the Buddha caves are also worth the visit on their own. The temple itself is also better than most. We went on a Saturday, and it...
