A girlfriend and I hiked Mt. Agung on November 21st and I would recommend this to all thrill seekers! I had read the reviews on trip advisor and honestly figured everyone was over reacting about the last hour of the hike, but they weren't by any means. We began at 1:30 AM and took the shorter route beginning more towards... More

First of all, thank you so much Wayan for this amazing experience! We decided to climb Bali's highest mountain with Wayan Dartha. He's an excellent guide, very experienced and speaks perfect English. He was very helpful and considerate on the way up and down, showing us where to step at difficult spots, giving us enough breaks, fun to chat with... More

I founded contact person @ +6281904082208 bases of five start rating on TripAdvisor and decided to contact him through WhatsApp. The reservation went smoothly, my message repined promptly and fixed by couple of minute. I and my wife stayed in Seminyak picked up at 8:30 pm by Ketut, travel to the base of Mt. Agung 2 hours then we began... More

I climbed Mount Agung last week with a friend and we really should have been more prepared! Our guide Ketut picked us up from our hotel at 1.30 am and told us that we needed warmer clothes because at the top it does get very cold- even when it is sweltering at the bottom! I think it would really help... More

We had to leave Tulamben at 1AM to start the trek from the base car park at 2:30. The trek starts in steep jungle before progressing to even steeper scrambling over and climbing up rocks later on. Good walking boots help a lot. We were at the summit by 5:20AM, with about five 5 minute rests along the way. We... More

I have just come back from travelling Bali Indonesia. First time travelling and first time somewhere so exotic and far away. Went with a friend and used a company to help organise the trip. One of our exertions was climbing mount Agung. For 2 people who have only climbed stairs in their life we weren't quite sure what to expect.... More

Climbed Mt Agung a few days ago with my wife and after a debrief and bit of time to process things I wanted to share our experience. We booked our trek through Bali Eco Cycling tour. Originally we were advised our pick up was midnight but there was some mix up and they didn't arrive til 1am. After an insane... More

I just finished my trip to Bali (October 26, 2016) and summiting Mt. Agung the long way from Pura Besakih Temple. Most of these reviews are the shorter easier hike to the crater rim and did not give me enough information (I felt) so I am writing this review so others who wish to attempt this route will have hopefully... Reading about this climb I found it difficult to gauge people's advice on how tough it would be without knowing their experience level. So, my background is as a keen amateur hiker - I've climbed Kilimanjaro and done the GR20 across Corsica and would say I'm fit, but not very fit. I like climbing mountains and know it involves getting... More
