I always love going to Thousand Island, especially to East Pantara. It's quite far from Jakarta, with 2 hours of boat ride but it's definitely worth it.

there are some islands to be visited such as Pari Islands, Bidadari Island, Pelangi Island, Onrust Island and so on. good place for relax, Snorkeling, good local food and nice boat arrangement from Marina Pier Jakarta

In the past years the amount of plastic that washes up on the beaches is frightening. The ferries regularly get props clogged by plastic causing delays. Otherwise it remains an interesting place to visit but recommend the shorter ferry ride from Sengigi Lombok. Short ride....More

Sepa Island provided a great weekend getaway from the hustle and traffic of the city. Just relax outside on the beach and snorkel from your front door. I found the snorkeling on Sepa was better than the boat ride to other areas.

Ibis hotel of which location? Assuming it’s in central jakarta, it will be around 1 hr to muara angke port. And it’ll take around 3 hrs on boat to island pramuka or pari or tidung.
