This landmark church was built for King Willem I. The name was changed from Willemskerk to Immanuel in 1948.

It is a Christian church. On Sunday, they has Bahasa, English and Dutch service language. The pipe organ is still work. If possible, try to hear the sound from pipe organ.

This is the oldest church in Jakarta. Located next to the museum, it is very easy to find and thus gets a lot of tourist visiting this. The inside of the church has many architectural beauty. Good to see on a Sunday morning.

Immanuel church was built in the 1830s. Its circular form is loosely inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. The church is one of Jakarta's most stylish Dutch colonial buildings and is open most days.
