Taman Prasasti Museum is very different with any other Museum. It's fully outdoor, the ambience brought us to back in 1800. Although it's a cemetary, but we didn't feel spooky at all. Very artistic graveyard, feels like in Europe at the summer time :) . Don't forget to bring your camera, or your mobile phone with great camera. There are a lot of interesting spot you can take shot. For the dress code, I suggest to wear white or black. It's very good for your photograph result.

My friend and I came to this stone park after having class. We went around and took several Photos. The entrance ticket IDR5k, affordable and good for us as a student and we went there by waklking from Monas. The location is behind many government offices. This museum is very authentic and unique. Many people did prewedding photo in this venue. Fully recommended for those loved cheap sightseeing.

It's a small unnoticed historical site for architecture and photography entusiast. It's no longer graveyard since all body remains were moved but the grave monuments & statues etc still original, combined with the old trees it could be quite something chilly.

Though the tombs are no longer in their original place, the tombstones are still well preserved. My friend actually found the tombstone of his ancestor, who once owned a land in Tanah Abang, during VOC time. Been visiting the museum for 3 times, and still love just strolling around and imagine what it was like in the old days.

I went to the museum alone in the afternoon. It was public holiday so the museum is really quiet and peaceful. The ticket is very cheap. Only IDR 5000/ USD 0.37. If you love to capture the unique monuments, you will love this place. There are a lot of unique and beautiful graves.

Here you could see the best quote from Soe Hok Gie and many lovely Dutch statues style in a dramatic pose. Good for photography hunting especially in black and white composition.

Not much to see here, the tombs are all withered, written mostly in dutch and no one there can tell you what this place is all about.

You can take some good pictures here though, it has some calm and majestic atmosphere.

Would be nice if there are some guides to take the visitor go through the place.
