At just 3,000 IDR entry fee and with very few tourists, this is a must visit temple to get a feel for the temples and architecture of 10th century Yogja. About 15mins drive from Prambanan.

Not far from Pranbanan, Plaosan is a delightful little temple with almost nobody there. This is a very convenient site to take good photos and enjoy the quiet vib. I would recommend it.

If you can stop and spend 20-30 minutes in here, is more than enough and you will enjoy the beauty of this temple and the rice paddies that surround it.

Prambanan and Borobudur are great but I do love this temple as well. The location is not that far from Prambanan and it is really amazing. If you ask me, I def. will tell you to go to this place.

We visited Candi Plaosan en route to Prambanan - it is a smaller temple but worth exploring if you are in the area.
