Instead of heading to Ratu Boko, you can come here to watch Sunset. Amazing non-block view. There's a counter to collect small fee, however, we reach around 30minutes before the sunset and the man told us to just enter without paying any fee.

We were told that this is the highest place in yogyakarta (Jogja) and hence worth visiting for the sunset. Since we missed the borobudur sunrise we went to this place for sunset which was a good experience.

If i'm not mistaken, Candi Ijo was at the highest place of the Yogyakarta, that's why that's a best choice for sunset view. The entrance ticket is 5000 IDR, that was super cheap for a great view.

Candi Ijo or Ijo Temple located in the east of Yogyakarta city, the distance from Yogyakarta appromaxtly 5 km, Iho Temple near from Prambanan Temple, feom Ijo temple you will enjoyed the sunset and to see the over-view point of Yogyakarta in the night.
