It’s not actually a tour where you can swim or explore the place. It’s just a part of the tour where the boat will went inside the lagoon, and drive slowly while the passenger is taking a picture in front of the boat. There’s nothing...More

One of the things you "MUST" do in EL Nido is the day tour to the four islands which include the seeing the Big lagoon and the Secret lagoons. If you do go prepared as there are some hidden actions. I left from a beach...More

We signed up with UMI tour through our hotel and both are highly recommended. Take the optional kayak to explore and you won't regret it - less crowded and easier to navigate compared to the small lagoon. The water is pristine and temperature is perfect...More

Lucky again here as we timed our trip to have the lagoon to ourselves. The 'party' boat with loots of people and loud music entered the lagoon as we left! Cannot understand why not experience nature in peace as you can listen to the top...More

If you have been to Palawan plenty of times, I am quite sure that you are aware of the Kayak business of the men there. This Big Lagoon is just a perfect place to do it. The view is something you cannot forget!

We went there late afternoon because we skipped it as the water was to shallow for our boat. You can rent a kayak but we have done this at the previous middle lagoon. It was beautiful and we were just one of two boats there....More

Big lagoon doesn't have any accomodations near it. It's like in the middle of the sea. Part of miniloc. You can only reach it by group/private tours. Places to stay in El Nido would be in town and surrounding areas. But... More

You should fly direct Manila to El Nido via Air-Swift. If you fly through Puerto Princesa, you can arrange for a private van or a 4x4 (+100USD one way for 4-5 people). We always recommend guests of Terra Nova - El Nido to... More
