This is a very nice Hindu Temple. Construction began in 1870 and there have been several upgrades and improvements over the decades. We are all able to worship in our own ways and although I don't know much about Hinduism I do respect those who show devotion and respect for deity.

Whenever i visited this temple i get inner peace, good vibrations. Clean, neatly maintained temple, you can pray almost all Vaishnov gods, many local Singaporeans visits here for their prayers.

Frankly, this temple is similar compare to other Hindu temples however this temple is incredible live, full of indian people and just a few tourists. Next to the temple is stage and if you're lucky you can see some interesting performance. Location is great, 10 minutes walk from SMRT station and just 3 minutes from Big Hotel I stayed in... More

Bright, colourful and busy, this and the nearby Kwan Im temples are a must see as some of the last remaining vestiges of olde Singapore. The surrounding hawker stalls of Bugis Street are an added bonus.

The temple is very busy with the locals and there's a constant stream of people coming in and out, trying to evade the gaping tourists (like me) standing in the way. It's a very beautiful and colourful temple, and I wish I knew more about the culture and religion. For Europeans like me, it's not something we see often, unless... More

This is one of Singapore's fantastic temples and we spent a day finding as many as we could. This one has some fantastic sculptures on and in its walls. If you are are in Singapore then you should stop and take a look. A beautiful place!
