Great venue at night so many dinner choices and very good value for money. The chilli mud crab must be on the list, great stand for souvenirs and exploring, the stall holders are all very friendly.

Really enjoyed Chinatown Street Market. Colourful and full of souvenirs, a stroll around was fun and the Hindu temple on the corner of Chinatown was beautiful. We had lunch here which was good. Not much bargaining going on in the markets though. Recommended.

The best souvenir market in singapore. Chinatown is the nearest MRT. I could spend the whole day here. The best one.

Lots of atmosphere, hundreds of cheap shops for souvenirs and great food. Probably the cheapest place to buy souvenirs and you can find some great food at reasonable prices. A must see in Singapore.

Thought we'd spend an hour looking around, but...found ourselves eating in the Chinese shops and food market. Excellent local fare and delicious but cheap food like pigs organs, chicken feet and many specialty foods locals love. Beer also cheaper here

If you are a first time visitors of Singapore, you must visit this steer where in you may buy good souvenirs at a very reasonable price from this street.

Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.

We were there on a Sunday and most things were open by 11. Not sure on other days but I would assume that they would be open everyday till at least 8.
