My friends and i recently made a trip down to kranji countryside last weekend and its a disappointment. i heard about their heritage trail but there was nothing special about it. All they had were information boards that had chunks of paragraphs with small words so it was hard to read. I was expecting them to have a mobile trail... More

Today, read from Facebook advertisement about Kranji Countryside Farmers' Market located at 240, Neo Tiew Crescent. Guided by GPS there to realised that the farmers' market is located at d'Kranji Resort which is another 5 minutes drive away. Free parking along the roadside at own risk. Farmers' market inclusive of 2 sections, indoor and outdoor. Spent about 1.5 hours roaming... More

During my first visit to Singapore I was thrilled to meet the Kranji Countryside team of passionate individuals/businesses who are leading the way in urban agriculture. It was a wonderful experience and I will visit them again on my next visit!

Hay dairies (goat farm), Viknesh cow farm and a frog farm were on our itinerary today. Goat farm was well organized and you can see the goat milking if you come between 09:00 - 10:00 am for sure. The milk can be bought fresh right there and taste really good, they even have a chocolate version. After that went by... More

So we decide to drive to the Kranji countryside to try something different in Singapore. Maybe Singapore is not known for the countryside but it does try to make up with variety. Some highlights : 1. Hay's dairies. I think the most well known place because if one comes early enough, one can see them milk the goats. It's quite... More

A hidden find on the way to the Singapore turf club. This is a place where you can find lots of different farms to visit. This is a kid friendly activity that is worth going for on the weekend.
