- PhoebeSingapore, Singapore1 contributionDef worth spending Ur money here 😎Our game master was rlly nice, he Def set the mood and provided us with a lot of help when we were clueless and worried whether the space was safe from the scare actor XD. Def worth going for the memories shared with friends and thrills. (We went for the train to Busan). This is my third time going and it is well worth it 👍Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 21 October 2023
- Orangesplatter1 contributionXscape in RochorWe chose Xscape as a go-to for our department outing. We selected Annabelle, Vincenzo, Morgue, and Shutter Island for our rooms. We had fun; the rooms were engaging and the puzzles were well thought out. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely recommend it to our peers and possibly return for another roundVisited May 2023Travelled on businessWritten 29 October 2023
- fnaSingapore, Singapore5 contributionsBest horror-themed escape rooms"It was a fun experience! Tried the Annabelle horror-themed room and the effects of the rooms are similar to the movie. Love the jumpscares and plot twist at the last room. Would definitely try out other horror themed rooms too!"Visited September 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 29 October 2023
- Erica Lee2 contributionsHome Sweet Homevery fun room! i played Home Sweet Home with 3 other friends, and i was extremely scared (i’m scared of even the slightest bit of horror). the staff were very friendly, be it at the counter or the gamemaster. i asked quite a number of questions about the game as i was scared to encounter things props that i’d rather not see. they were very helpful, and told me what to expect inside the room without spoiling the element of surprise at all!Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 4 November 2023
- Vacation038025382431 contributionA great experienceIts was a really great experience! There was a wide variety of rooms to choose from and in the end we chose the Annabelle room. When we arrived, the staff were really friendly and understanding to us when we were asking for clues. Overall for 30 SGD, it was a really fun and enjoyable session! Will definitely come back again!Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 13 November 2023
- Shh1 contributionMy 3times experience in XcapeWow Xscape is rly amazing! I’ve played the Busan express (my favourite), the morgue and home sweet home. For the Busan express thr is NPC pop out suddenly which is rly much more fun than those without NPC. The difficulty is is not that hard even though I did not manage to solve everything but it’s rly worth the price! For the morgue, the corpse is so real🥶 it’s rly scaryyy. For the home sweet home, it’s actually slightly harder than the morgue and Busan express. I needed hints for almost all the quizzes, but not as scary. U get to move between rooms and it is rly a test of eye sight👀 Xscape is rly the best escape room I’ve get to. I wld want to get a try with shutter island💪Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 26 November 2023
- Curiosity427725913541 contributionChallenging but FunWe tried 'Home Sweet Home' today and we were not disappointed. It was more challenging than expected but the staff were very kind in giving us hints to guide us in the right direction. Overall, we had a really good time and we can't wait to go back to try out the other escape rooms!Visited August 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 2 December 2023
- corn1 contributionFun!This was me & my friends’ first time going to one of XCape’s escape room. We played the Busan Express room and were first greeted by one of the staffs. Didnt catch his name but he was friendly & nice & even gave us to play without the scare actors when we asked (appreciate it a lot hahaha we were scaredy cats). The room was really fun, enjoyable & well designed despite the jumpscares LOLVisited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 9 January 2024
- Go33130151664Singapore1 contributionI'm glad I made this decision for my team's teambuilding! We had fun! It was part of our company’s team building that I’ve organised and all of them enjoyed it. We even made a side ‘bet’ to see who escape from the room fastest. Confession is scary at the same time, the difficulty is appropriate. Not too easy and at the same time, not too difficult to the point of wanting to give up. The timing of escaping the room is just right. I will definitely try and make it back here for the other games.Visited January 2024Travelled on businessWritten 14 January 2024
- milknpowderSingapore, Singapore6 contributionsExhilarating and exciting CONFESSION!!"Really good game. Exciting right from the start (no spoilers... hahaha) Difficulty level just within grasp with some help. Plot is interesting and the puzzles were fun to solve. Friends and I had a superbly fun night! Thank the staff for being patient with us!"Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 21 January 2024

This is kinda an overdue review since we didn’t leave a review for the room we played 2 weeks ago so this review will cover both experiences.
Staffs
The staffs did a good job in explaining the general dos & don’ts. They were enthusiastic and funny from the moment we entered the lobby. They also helped us pace our progression during our ‘escape’ by taking the initiative and offering to provide hints when we were stuck on a puzzle for too long because we were too stubborn to ask for hints. Overall, the interactions with the staffs definitely made our experience much more enjoyable.
Busan Express (Season 3)
The ‘rooms’ were wonderfully decorated. It feels like being in the actual train carriage instead of a room. The puzzles are clever and relevant to the storyline and the occasional thrill elements made it more exciting.
Azkaban (Season 3)
First of all, THE ROOMS ARE BEAUTIFUL. As a Harry Potter fan, I absolutely LOVED the effort that went into the creation and decoration of this room. If you are a fan as well then this room is a must try! The way that they incorporated the usage of the wands was pretty cool.
Unlike some of their competitors that use minimal/sparse decorations, Xcape spared no efforts in the decorations of their rooms, making our experience much more immersive and enjoyable. Also, I find the difficulty levels of the rooms displayed on their website to be accurately reflected. A friend of mine with 0 escape room experience managed to solve a fair number of puzzles for the 3-stared difficulty Busan Express and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. We will definitely be back for more!

I asked before booking if my 4.5 years old daughter would be included in the payment and I was told she is not. During the game I was asked repeatedly by staff to come out of the game to pay for her (staff didn't ask how old my daughter was). Was asked if we could wait till the game ends to resolve the payment issue but we were asked again to go and pay immediately in the middle of the game. Staff at reciepietion were not able to get me in touch of management to issue a complaint and not able to issue a refund. Worst experience ever. They only charge for kids age 6 and above so my daughter should have not been included in the payment. I got a refund for the team and we left mid game

Train to Busan! Great experience as usual. Xscape did not disappoint again. Props and fixtures were professionally done up and really fits the narrative. The live actor really enhanced the overall experience. Managed to complete under 40min and most of the puzzles were very well thought through, with a couple that were quite innovative.

The Train to Busan escape room was very atmospheric and realistic, the zombies that attack occasionally is a nice feature to disrupt the game and force players to hide and waste previous time. The puzzles in the room is also quite well designed, with a combination of visual clues and audio clues. The host was also quite detailed in the briefing and leaving subtle hints as well.

Train to Busan was intense, fun and terrifying. The sound system, lights and NPC all came out at the right time. Game master gave the clues without giving out the password and let us work out the puzzles. Would love to go to the other new rooms once it's available.

Our team of 4 picked the Vincenzo room, as we were not too keen to play rooms that were accompanied by the horror element. The bilingual narrative was very complete - we loved how shelled out the storyline was, from beginning to end. The interior decor of the rooms and games were very intricately designed. Most importantly, they were promptly lit. We appreciated how the storyline helps in solving the mystery at the end. There was a need to understand each and every clue to get to the endgame. Each character profile was duly written and the details were very well thought-up of. The immersive experience was very engaging. We were greeted with the game master upon entrance and were taken aback by how immersed the staff was in her acting. She set the tone and the mood of the game really well, which helped us to start off the game quickly. We also liked how detailed she was in her explanation!

My friends and I had a great time bonding.
We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and as much as this is my 2nd time meeting his friends, this activity made us bond very quickly. Definitely a good ice breaker game.

This is my second time at Xcape and I visited on 10 Sep 2021. Train to Busan was very immersive in terms of the story line and atmosphere. The puzzles were challenging but rewarding, and the staff (Shu Fen) managing our room was very friendly, patient and great at explaining whenever we needed help. 10/10 would recommend, and am excited to return soon!

Tried Home Sweet Home for the first time at XCAPE.We went earlier since we're new.
When we reached reception, the staff there can't even be bothered to greet you, they served us with an unbothered attitude and it felt v unwelcoming. As soon as payment was made, they told us to go there OURSELVES - don't even bother with hospitality !
When we reached the room - our first thoughts was that it's very nicely decorated and staff acting was really entertaining. But soon we realise that none of the puzzles made any sense to the story, you just had to guess what is meant to fit but had no other meaning what so ever. We did not manage to solve anything in time due to that.
When time ran out they just turned on all the lights immediately and just told us the next steps , didn't even let us try escaping and said "OK I need to clean the room for the next customers" even though our slot was from 2pm - 3pm and ended at 2:45pm. Couldn't they have given us the chance to experience it instead? We felt it was very rude, as though we weren't welcome in the experience. Sad.
In the end, we felt cheated of our $44 experience since we didn't even get to see through to the end. Especially since we felt very unwelcome. Would not come again!

It was an Awesome and Thrilling Experience!! XCAPE - Annabelle was one of A must go Escape Room in SG! We've spent our night last week and decided to go out for a challenge! We've decided to book under Xcape SG- Anabelle room! There was no hassle when we got there , location is very accessible and walking distance from MRT Bugis Exit A. Staff were all friendly and very organized, we just waited 10 minutes prior to the game as they need to have ample time to Sanitize the room for everyone's safety! Which is very good at this pandemic time! The staff who assisted us in the room were very helpful and knowledgable with the story line as it was briefly discussed to us before we start the game. When we enter the room 3 (All girls) of us were very frightened and got goose bumps too..All the clues and puzzles will really twist your mind, you need to think out of the box! And let your creative mind, explore, think and give it a try!.You all must have a good teamwork in order for you to solve, find the clues and escape! This was one of the BEST Escape room in SG we've ever experienced !! Room was big and spacious good for big groups too! Horror themed Interiors and unexpected Thrilling effects were really Exhilarating and Amazingg!!!! This is a MUST GO Experience that will give you thrills and enjoyment you will keep on chatting and remembering with your friends. We will definitely go back and try other XCape rooms, most probably our next will be the Shutter Island, can't wait!! Overall, 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating!..

If I have kids 8-11 years old, can they do this with adults accompanied?
Written 31 March 2018
They can but just don't do horror rooms and tomb raider as tomb raider requires u to have physical strength
Written 31 March 2018
Doraemon and Kungfu panda - which more suitable for five 13-year-olds? Can they be unaccompanied in the room? I suspect they'd rather not have an adult tagging along.
Written 13 February 2017
Hi, Mission X - The Love Confession (Doraemon) will be more suitable or 13 years old. As the puzzles will be easier for them to understand if they are first timers. For Kungfu Panda X, one adult has to be inside accompanying them as the age limit for that game is min 14 years old. Hope this is useful for you.
Thank you (:

How scary is Annabelle and The Morgue? And how challenging? As in how would you describe it?
Written 14 November 2016
Hi, if you have tried our other games, you might have a comparison. The scare factor is 5 stars, the other games are at 1-2 stars only. :)
Written 15 November 2016
Hi there,
The rates depend on the room that you book and the time of the day. Peak times would normally be in the evenings. You can go to their website and "book" the room, and the actual rates will be shown. Have fun!

Is the level of difficulty in the latest Kungfu Panda game similar to Doraemon? The recent reviews of Doraemon seems to state that it is quite easy.
Written 19 December 2015
Hi, yes, Kungfu Panda is more difficult than Doraemon. Doraemon is our easiest game with 3 stars in difficulty level. :)
