Visited the park today.

Nice area to walk around. Quite a few macaques roaming about. Big children’s play area - adventure style in the centre and a stunning restaurant on the pier projecting from the park. There are great views of the causeway in both directions.

Nice for a relaxing visit. So hot though, with limited shade. If you are looking for wildlife, Admiralty Park opposite has a good diversity of nature.

I always combine my visit to scenic and tranquil Woodlands Waterfront Park with Admirality Park as they are practically next to each other across a road. Woodlands North mrt station is a convenient station for visiting both parks via Republic Polytechnic,
Woodlands Waterfront Park is located right on the edge of the Straits of Johor and this coastal park boasts unobstructed views of Johor Bahru(JB).
Most people walk down the long jetty (400 m) and being on the jetty is the closest place one can get to JB. In the evening, a magnificent sunset can be enjoyed here too. Fishing is only allowed at certain stretch of the jetty.
There is even a casual restaurant, Rasa Istimewa Waterfront Restaurant, situated in the middle of the jetty. It serves various seafood dishes like steamed fish and prawns, as well as satay. It is opened only from 12 pm daily.
There is a large playground featuring netted “Sky Bridges and Sky Cabins”.
Visitors can also enjoy a panoramic view of the entire coastal park and the Straits of Johor from high vantage points and rest shelters placed along the scenic trails as the park has undulating terrain further inland. These trails are great for cyclists, joggers and hikers.
Walking along the waterfront promenade will lead to the Causeway with its large water pipes. It is also possible to walk to the Singapore Custom from here or to Marsiling Park using the Marsiling Park Connector.

I found this place via an article on best places to catch the sunset. There's a long pier that extends out so you can catch the sunset. Lots of fisherman and people exercising there. There's also a seafood restaurant on the pier, but I haven't been there before.

The open fields and jetty make great landscapes for photographs. The playground is huge, and is great for kids to play around in. Great cycling/picnic location.

I work at Woodlands Police Division. I like to come early to my office and then strolled my way to the nearby park for an exploration. It has become my routine and I had for the past few weeks explored Marsiling Park, Woodlands East Town Park, Admiralty Park and today Woodlands Waterfront Park.

From the map, I could not find a direct cut from Admiralty Park to Waterfront Park so I took the long way along Riverside Road and turned right towards Admiralty Road West. When I reached the traffic junction before crossing the road to the Waterfront Park, I noticed there was an entrance leading to Admiralty Park.

Yesterday, I was exploring Admiralty Park but could not find such an entrance or exit to Woodlands Waterfront Park. The authority should have erected some sign at Admiralty Park showing the direction to the Woodlands Waterfront Park.

If you compare Admiralty Park with Woodlands Water Park, I still prefer Admiralty Park where there are mangrove swamps, dense secondary forest and lotus ponds. Monkeys appeared on the isolated pathway and were not really frightened of me. Here, you feel more in nature wonderlands.

The distinctive feature of Woodlands Waterfront Park is that it is beside the sea facing Johor Bahru. I remember those days, the Police Coast Guards used to ambush along this stretch of land for illegal immigrants conveyed by speed crafts smuggling them into Singapore. This vulnerable stretch of lands is so close to Malaysia and the smugglers plying speed crafts can just reach our waters from Malaysia in 5 minutes.

The jetty stretched into the sea and there is a restaurant Rasa Istimewa located just at the end of the extended jetty. The outlet with the same name at Choa Chu Kang Park has closed down and taken over by Teh Tarik Cafe but this outlet seem still operating. I wondered if her close proximity to the sea means that the seafood can be purchased directly from the fishermen operating in this area of the sea.

It was drizzling when I came and the wind was very strong. My umbrella almost flew off when I was using my camera to snap some photos. The park looks remotely isolated and quiet same like Admiralty Park. There are spacious green pastures studded by trees and playgrounds but no mangrove swamp or dense forest.

When the wind blew from the sea and caressed my face, I felt relaxed looking at the wide expanse of the water. It is indeed an impressive waterfront park with much greenery though not as naturally green as Admiralty Park.

It is great to feel the fresh air and it would be good to combine the journey with an exploration of Admiralty Park.

This park is opened in 2017. Is my first time here and I was quite surprised with the scenery. You will be able to see JB very clearly opposite. No bicycle rental shop here. There is only 1 halal restaurant. If you would like to come here and catch pokemon, it is the right place!

I went at around 8am to check out the park and it overlooks Johor Bahru and I see that no one was present. Almost as if it was abandoned but it was serene and peaceful!

I took a train to Wooodlands mrt stop and walked to the Admiralty park beside the Republic Polytechnic.
I rented a mobike at the entrance of park. There is a large playground near the entrance which will be fun for children.
There is also a newly built short boardwalk. Nearby is the exit of this park and I crossed the road over to the Woodlands Waterfront park. Here one has a great view of Johor Bahru across the sea. Cycling here is relaxing too and the cycling track ends very near to the Causeway. I stopped cycling here and continued walking to the Marsiling Park which is newly renovated. I saw some people picking the water kang kong vegetable and pennywort near to a stream. It is a peaceful and quiet park. A short walk away is Marsiling mrt station.
