Stopped for a visit while touring Stanley. It is a fascinating Church - so Anglican and beautiful in such a remote location.

Excellent craftsmanship in this old church. Worth a stop and brief look. Not too special but good to see.

This cathedral, the southernmost Anglican cathedral in the world is a little gem. However, the solemn knowledge of recent events remains clear

Situated close to the ferry and cruise ship tender quay, this church stand proud over looking the bay. Great decor and very much the focal point of the Stanley area. The whalebone in the garden is an interesting side feature

Unmissable on the main frontage of Port Stanley, this is a reminder of conflict prior to 1982 as well as the more recent engagement, still so much part of the lives of the older inhabitants. Even those of other faiths or none can be moved by the range of memorials inside the church as well as those outside along the... More

This is a lovely little church - with an active congregation - with a range of memorials covering a wide range of periods

Nice place to visit Sunday before 10am. witnessed a local family baptism which was informal. The service was mainly formal but good tea afterwards and I felt welcome

was nice to have a look inside, nothing special, even just before Christmas. Part of the flair of Stanley for a cruise visitor.

There is nothing really special about this cathedral other than it being the most southerly Anglican cathedral in the world. It is small and welcoming and you can visit in 5-10 minutes if on a cruise ship and tight on time. The whalebone arch is outside the cathedral.
