Excellent trek. Not difficult. I went in September and the trail was still very icy/ muddy and there was a lot of snow. Dress accordingly. The descent is slippery so bring hiking poles if you have some.

Very nice park, with a few tables by the lake to eat, nice trails but at some points not well preserved. Worth to visit!

The best national park of Araucania! There's a nice and hard trail where you can see lakes and millenial araucarias. it can be a bit rough though.

This park has some of the most well-maintained trails I've seen. There are a variety of options for different difficulty levels and lengths. And the scenery is absolutely beautiful! If you're taking the bus from Pucón, make sure to catch the early bus in order...More

I know that there was a time when it was possible to fly to Pucón but for what I know that is not the case now. The best alternative is to fly to Temuco and then take a transfer to Pucón that is 90 minutes away.
