Although the caves are a nice place to visit, the entrance is 18000 pesos wich I consider is a shame of price and only shows the greed of the owner. There are plenty other nicer places to visit in Pucon.

Pay 18.000 Chilean pesos per person. Cave is interesting. Tour is short. Only 500meters. The guide didn't explain much. Our group didn't feel it was worth 18k each.

Spent part of a day traveling to these caves. Our guidebook stated they would be 6,000 Chilian, however when arriving it was $18,000 Chilian. Ugh! After the travel we decided to visit. I was given a helmet that was way too big. The guide took it and said I wouldn't need it. However I proceeded to hit my head quite... More

My kids loved going into this cave. My older kid became very interested in all the geological information given by the guide. I also took my smaller child (2 yrs) maybe a bit small for this still.

The Volcanic caves are closed because the eruptions in march. There are a lot of damages. In Pucon you can order a guide or .... go for your own with your own risk. Impressively, the lava caves - dark, damp, do not forget a flashlight. Nature has powers that are only really aware of each in the sight of the... More

they didn't give us a English speaking guide, so we had to listen the Spanish Guide. He was very friendly, but the Information they give were poor. The area and the caves are nice, but the price definitely to high, they should provide more information and service in generell. The caves are only 500 meter long so it is a... More

the caves itself are really nice and the tour guides are also really good, but compared to other activities I did in chile it seems to be a bit expensive (18000 pesos for around one hour). However, I'm happy I did it.

The road there was unplowed and full of snow. We got a ride from one of the workers in a four wheeler with chains. It was a bit misty and foggy when we arrived. Our guide Cecilia did a great job giving us information. She can speak English but she spoke Spanish with us. The caves are interesting and you... More
