I believe this place is unique. In the middle of forest you find about 17 pools with volcanic heated water. The experience of taking bath while external temperature is below 0 Celsius and water is like 43 Celsius is unique. There are 2 waterfalls, one...More

A jewel worth pursuing. If you go to Pucon and the climate and vehicle permit, don't miss this unique feature. Thermal springs that derive their name from the geometry of the decks that take you to the hot pools. Almost individual pools with some small...More

This is probably the best tour we made in Chile so far. The place is absolutely stunning, in the middle of the mountains and very close to nature. You access the thermal pools walking through wooden bridges that feels both rustic and secure. Needless to...More

I went with a friend and the couchsurfing host in Villarica, he drove us there in his car so we didn't have to pay for transport which is awesome considering it is a far away place. We paid 20.000 CLP last year, I guess it's...More

The Termas Geometricas are tucked away in the mountains and are literally built into a crevasse. Walking along the red painted, wood walkway, it has an unreal feeling as the steam comes of the water and the walls are covered in ferns. The pools range...More

After reading a lot of reviews, we were a bit concerned about getting here in our own vehicle. We had no reason for any concern and made it just fine in a Jeep Compass. Checking in was easy and we were given lots of instruction,...More

I decided to go to the hot springs on one of the rainy and cloudy days during my visit to Pucon. They are located an hour and 45 minutes from downtown. I expected it to be something that would be cool to say I did...More

Pucon is rainy and grey in late April. After a short hike to the glacier behind the volcano, the rest of the afternoon was spent soaking in the hot springs at Termas Geometricas. This is a series of twenty natural style pools (greatest depth probably...More

It takes some effort to get to the springs with the dirt road leading up the Villarrica volcano, but when you settle into the first of many hot spring pools, you realize some of the great experiences require some effort. The hot spring pools are...More

I don't see why not? You will be wet the whole day anyway!! If it is torrential/storm, maybe not as the pools are not covered and roads are very bumpy with plenty of twists and turns.

We also booked a tour which included transport there and back and towels and a locker with key. There is a small cafe which sells pizzas and soups and a few other things I think, or you can take your own snacks.

No, but they accept only 300 people at the same time; if it's already complete, you may have to wait until someone gets out.....
