This museum is free to enter and is about the famous poet, Pablo Fierro. I must admit I have never heard of the guy till then and the Museum didn't really offer much information about him (at least none that we could find as it is a bit of a messy place). The place itself is like a little maze... More

A short walk from the center of town will take you to this delightful "museum"--a multi-storied structure filled to near overflowing with delightfully arranged clusters of object and images--old bottles and manual typewriters, wooden figures and painted portraits, functional and purely whimsical items seemingly gathered at random but clearly--with a closer look--carefully selected and placed to please the eye and... A quirky place full of interesting nooks and crannies with an eclectic mix of bits and pieces. The artist, Pablo, can be found on site and you can purchase a photo of some of hit artworks. Entry is by donation.

This is for family all ages... the attraction is the gathering of all diffrent old things brought by immigrants in 1850's where European traditions came to stay in a certain way... but the interesting thing is the emsamble that the local paintor has done mixing his own view of the area when drawing of coloring his painting of the old... You can't walk by this building without wanting to venture inside. Do so and, if you're lucky, the friendly artist will be in residence! Quirky and fun with lots of great, historical photos of the area.

We visited this on a rainy day and the artist was there. He runs this museum which is a collection of forgotten articles and makes for an interesting trip. A unique thing to do. Free although contributions appreciated.

Pablo's collection reflects in drawings, photos, artifacts and sounds (bird calls especially) what those of us who love the history of Puerto Varas treasure most. He sees it as a kind of anti-museum that takes the sometimes stale presentation format of most museums. In his multi-storied building the ceilings are hung with items from the past that dangle above you... More

If you like strange and interesting mixtures of old object you will love this place. This is the finest museum of cachureo I have ever seen. The creator of this weird and wonderful mess, Pablo, is an incredible artist and a really nice guy who took the time to explain not only the origins of his museum but also his... More

It's an abandoned house remodeled by an artist Pablo Fiero, that also offers painted and photo miniatures and antiques for purchase. The museum presents different local antiques etc. The admission is free with a voluntary contribution.
