The water really is that emerald green and beautiful blue from the minerals traveled there from the glaciers and mountains. Absolutely beautiful. Easy to walk trails to the waterfall. Free bathrooms and $2000 per person go visit the falls and park is not bad. Tons...More

I really enjoyed the hike though this park! See photos attached of the views in the park. The views of the volcanos, the rushing water, waterfalls, and topography were really enjoyable.

Within this lovely park is the beautiful Petrohue Waterfalls. The surroundings are gorgeous, and fairly easy to maneuver, even with some walking difficulties. We totally enjoyed our time there!

We hiked in constant drizzle and enjoyed all three trails. The color of the river and lagoons is just beautiful clear blue and torque. The volume and strength of the river rushing are very impressive and the background volcanos are perfectly situated. Too bad we...More

This place has some nice hiking trails along the river and the cascading falls are spectacular. Unfortunately, it is a must stop for a lot of tour buses. It can get very crowded on the boardwalk. Note: all the signs are in Spanish.

There is so much to see and the best way is by foot and bicycle. We cycled thru the park on the bike path and then took the short walk to see the waterfalls and rapids. We bought the best miel (honey) in the gift...More

This is a decent national park and if you're close it's well worth a visit. However, I'd caution you to come in with realistic expectations. There are lots of tour buses and most of the scenic areas are chock-full of tourists with selfie sticks. It's...More

We visited here as part of a cruise excursion so didn't know too much about this please. Earlier we did a boat ride on Lake Esmeralda and then a short walk to these spectacular falls. The sound of the rushing water is loud and even...More

I would still go hike in Saltos de Petrohue, just don't try to walk all the routes, you can easily turn back when you decide you would like to. Enjoy!
