Great to see the selection of seafood but dirty and there are better restaurants to eat at in the city. Too much hassle with waiters pushing menus in your face.

We wandered around the market buying tourist tat (fridge magnet, flag patches, etc) and saw all the amazing fresh fish displayed. Couldn't get over the size of the crabs! We are at the Galleon restaurant which was a nice stop for a leisurely lunch.

I think some restaurants, located in Mercado Central, will be opened on Xmas Day, for lunch. But you'd better email or call theml
