I love churches, that's all there is to it. Worth a sit to just be thankful. There was just small damage by the earthquake.

From inside, it is a beautiful cathedral, however, it is located in a very crowded region, so getting there is a bit stressful.

This is not just a monument for tourists but a church for the people. Mass was being celebrated while we were visiting and devout at the chapels and at confession. It's in the old part of the city at plaza de armas with important historical buildings.

A very lovely cathedral with beautiful works of art and soaring roof height. Wonderful old Spanish ceramic floor tiles.

The outside is beautiful, the inside is nice but there is no comparison to the beautiful cathedrals of europe.

This cathedral is beautiful and open to the public. It faces a gorgeous park and is a great place to relax, listen to music or just people watch. BE careful though: Pick pockets abound!

There are many details to look at, and is very well kept. Beautiful music and service. Since it's in the plaza, there are many people all the time.

Being on visit to central district of Santiago don't miss the Catedral. I had to participate on a Sunday service with the Cardinal, and 12 other priests on an amazing ceremony. And the building in itself is a must!
