Although the weather was a little overcast and cool, our stroll through Parque Forestal was a relaxing time with wonderful facilities and gardens.

It's got some good monuments, kid's playgrounds, lots of benches and grassy spots and the trees and greenery are a nice break from the buys traffic and din of Santiago. Popular with locals of all flavors and a good size.

If you are in to walking, this park is for you. There is a separate bike path which makes walking safer. There are fountains and statues along the wide path which wanders by museums, children's playground and lush tress, bushes, flowers and grass.
