Great exhibition space

Interesting to visit this cultus centre built into the basements underneath the plaza in front of La Moneda. Light and airy. A wonderful use of space. Great cafes there too.

One of the places to see when you're walking around Santiago Although this is the building where the president is, you would think there is more to do or see but there is not. A few guards will stand outside and that is about it.

I went to see the Picasso exhibit recently and it was wonderful! The location is right in front of the Moneda and they have 2 entrances, one on each side of the Moneda, that go underground. Going earlier is best as there are fewer people, the exhibit was free and spacious and we spent about an hour browsing. They have... More

the building is very modern and has a great space for exhibits and workshops, the place is clean and definitely is at the standard of international art houses. nevertheless, the people at the desk have no clue about art, and staff seems to consist of students that for most of the time have "no idea". Security was silly, throwing out... More

Great to find this gem under the palace. Even greater to find the Picasso exhibition in full swing and for such a nominal entry fee. Worth checking what's on when you're in town, they are priced to entice

Go early! We arrived around 9.30h and didn't have to wait, but only an hour later there was a queue to the Picasso exhibition. The exhibition shows different paintings, scetches and sculptures from various periods of Picassos life such as Cubism, Surrealism and the Blue Period. The exhibition has a nice size, being not too big and not too small.... More

Monday is not normally a good day for museum going, so we were so happy to find that the centro cultural was open. In addition to the Picasso show, which charged admission, there are free exhibits. We saw some photos, all about the local tiles, Mapuche textiles, and could have gone to a movie. There are restaurants too, but we... More

I really liked the design and layout of this museum. The Picaso exhibit was there at this time and it was very busy. There is also an exhibit there that shows how they make much of the floor tiles you see throughout much of oldtown. One thing you need to know men and ladies is like most government buildings they...
