the exhibits might be aimed at kids but it's still good fun to play with them. shoving a kid out of the way to get to something first is frowned upon it seems :)

We loved this museum with our 2 boys (7 and 9). There is so much to do you can easily spend the whole day here. We did not even have time to explore the outside on our visit. Entrance is pretty cheap compared to similar places in Europe. The earthquake room was very interesting. The 3D movie was a bit... More

We had some time to burn before our return flight and made the stop with no expectations. Wow. Very well done Chile. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here (for the 3000+ pesos entry fee). Our 13 year old who was more interested in Wi-Fi the entire trip to Chile was now interacting and actually smiling! The exhibits were well... More

An excellent option for kids in Santiago, I was traveling with my two kids (10 and 7) and we were looking for something to do, mainly in a rainy (cloudy - with chances of rain). A friend had indicated me to go to the MIM. Arriving at the MIMi is not complicated, but I think it could be more friendly... More

The best family oriented museum...kids (and adults as well) can touch and.experience everything through the senses Arrive early so you can book your children to different workshops and games about gravity, space, publishing, mining, etc Take picnic lunch since the snack bar inside is expensive and has little to offer in variety...outside there are picnic tables and a nice green area to spend the... There are so many things to see and do in this museum. Its a bit of a trip to get there, but worth every minute. Take some food because the cafe is busy and there isnt much of a choice.

I went with my husband, my 3 and my 2 yo. They had the best time!!!! Loved the bubble station! Maybe they didn't learn that much because they are too young but they sure have a great time!

We were in Santiago for 2 days and are glad we visited the MIM. Even though everything was in Spanish, the staff were super friendly and found an English speaking assistant who offered us some advice. We spent a good 2 hours here and could have spent more time, if we hadn't had to go somewhere else. The kids can... More

My 14 year old son and I have visited science museums in every major city of Australia-- and we just loved this one! It had some totally unique exhibits, lots of variety, friendly staff, huge grounds. We love the huge bubble area! Great place!
