Piedra de Agua - Fuente Termal y Spa is a modern and complete thermal tourism center located 10 minutes from downtown Cuenca - Ecuador. Built almost entirely from limestone rock of volcanic origin carved out of the same location, Piedra de Agua combines stone, glass and wood in its clean and modern architecture to achieve delicate and comforting spaces. Our main attractions are our THERMAL WATER of volcanic origin and a series of related services which include volcanic mud treatments, vaporized massages, steam baths, contrast baths, box steam baths and more. Our guests can take full advantage of the world renowned medicinal and healing properties of natural thermal water in a place specifically designed to relieve stress and find peace and serenity.

we had a great time here, covered in 2 types of mud, steam baths cold pools ,volcanic showers. Not enough towels provided at the end for a shower to really try to get the mud off. Bring soap as well and use older swim wear and bring old sandals that you don't mind getting in covered in mud!

Easy to reach from the centre of Quincke via bus or taxi. The boss is only $.25. Bring a bathing suit and maybe some sandals to get around on the sharp rocks. Otherwise everything you need is provided. The spa package includes not only the Hot Springs pool, but also red mud bath, blue mud bath, super-hot Turkish sauna, box... More

TL;DR: we went on a holiday, which was a huge mistake. We paid a lot for a very sub-par experience. They let in way too many people and had way too little staff. Our first mistake was traveling over carnaval weekend and thinking we might have a relaxing time...The lack of good customer service started when we booked online--they let... More

Jumped the city bus from Downtown Cuenca and 20 minutes and 25 cents later we were dropped off a block and a half from the Banos Hot Springs. This facility is top notch with, mud baths, steam room, saunas, several pools and a wonderful restaurant. We both have a minor aches and pains however they vanished in the 5 hours... More

In 2016, after a stressful year and a wet autumn abroad, I was in much need of some time to relax. I knew I had to book a spa circuit at Piedra de Agua, Fuente Termal & Spa, during my time in Cuenca. I had heard wonderful comments about the place both online and from my family. A spa circuit... More

This a spa for "non spa people". They have thermal pools, all kinds of steam, hot and cold pools, blue and red mud baths and a nice restaurant/terrace where you can enjoy a drink and/or a meal. Kind of a water park for adults. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. On Mondays, from 11 am until 5 pm, you... More

We spent 4 hours in this wonderful place surrounded by volcanic rock, plants and trees. We bathed in warm thermal waters, we took the $35.00 Dlls. package, which includes a bath in "red and blue mud" (minerals) to exfoliate and nourish the skin. Then we were taken to a cold and warm tub inside a hill ........quite an experience. We... More

My wife, adult daughter and I visited the Spa very recently. We have a great time each visit. The staff is absolutely fantastic. The service is great and if you select the cuisine, it is wonderful. We are not Spa people! A first experience for us both. It was an amazing experience, you must do the $35 package. Steam room, red mud, blue mud, thermal pools & steam box. This was about 3 hours, with a staff member telling us when to move on at all times. After, we could just hang around the main pools,... More

Went by myself one Monday in January. Easy to get to from central Cuenca (12 or 100 bus- only $0.25!!!) Staff welcome was pleasant and efficient. I opted for the multi-tour and 25 minute massage. Turkish steam, red and blue mud, contrast pools, steam cabinet, made already relaxed when it was time for my massage. Nice relaxing day.
