A bare bones place that is in poor shape with minimum information regarding the Incas. The only interesting display was regarding the process of skull deformation. Only stop in if you have 10 minutes to kill and have already paid for your Boleto Turistico. Even...More

If you've already paid for a ticket which includes this at no extra cost, and you want to rest your eyes for 10 minutes, by all means wander in. Otherwise, it resembles nothing more that a badly-lit toilet with a couple of almost impossible to...More

Be wary, not the big museum regarding the Qoricancha site! This is only a very small museum with some interesting skulls but very little else. Do not buy the 70 soles bolleto turistico just to get in here, this place is worth about 5 soles....More

This was on our tourist 'boleto' so we went in and I was not impressed. Displays in this tiny museum were poorly crafted and in bad shape, sequencing was unclear and the facilities themselves didn't look (or even always smell) very good). Also, the text...More

Though small, they've packed a lot of information in to this museum. Located underneath Qorikancha, the access is on Av El Sol. If you can only visit one museum, see this one.

If you just want to visit this place, it's expensive (130 solis), and definitely not worth it. Museum is small and lacklustre, little in English and the gardens are well maintained but little to see. Far better to visit the Convent next door for 15...More

This site is amazing and interesting. Very significant in INCA history. I recommend a guide. This was the most important ceremonial structure during the INCA era. A must see if you love the history

I would not recommend this at all. You get everything and more from the Regional Museum in town. The information is basically the same just less detailed. They don't keep it up very well. Many of the displays were broken or not cleaned. They have...More

The small number of artifacts that have been excavated from the Qoricancha a displayed here, usually only with Spanish labels. In general, this museum also provides a brief introduction to Peruvian prehistory, and has a nice display of mummies, in particular. Included in the Touristico...More
