We booked a our trip 6 mo in advance - Hike the Inca Trail and end up in Machu Picchu on New Year's morning. The trail was better than I even imagined, Eder and Angel, our guides, were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, our group of 9 gelled great, our chef (not just a cook when he can work magic on... Eder was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and good spirited. He was able to answer all of questions not just about the ruins but about Peru as well. This made the trip feel less stuffy and more authentic. The food and the porters did an amazing job! (Please make sure to bring enough to tip them if you do plan... More

We enjoyed the 4-day trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We also took advantage of day trips with Valencia prior to the hike. It was an outstanding experience. The level of service and knowledge from our guide, Eder, and the assistant guide, Angel, was fantastic. The food was unbelievably good. We would recommend Valencia.

My girlfriend and I had a spectacular trip with Valencia travel. We originally booked the 7 day trip to Machu Picchu, but quickly signed up for more activities and additional days at the hotel through them. The half day City Tour and the Sacred Valley Tours were great and we learned a lot about the culture, but the highlights of... More

The 10 day Peru trip with stops in Lima, Cusco, MP and Puno was awesome. The trip was planned so well and EVERYTHING went right. It was so wonderful to have buses, trains, boats, and taxis already planned. The company just takes the stress out of traveling. It was my first time in South America, so this was all helpful.... The 4-day trek (7-day package) was a great experience. The hike itself is challenging, but the guides were fantastic at catering to all levels in the group. Anyone with a decent fitness level should be able to handle the exercise aspect, but the two days in Cusco on the front end are important for acclimatization (and there's lots to do... More

My two friends and I hiked the 5-day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu with Valencia Travel in mid-November 2016. We had an excellent experience, despite some obstacles along the way (severe altitude sickness and a strike in Aguas Calientes; more details below). Our guide, Victor, and the rest of the team took great care of us and enabled us to... More

The trekking to Machu Picchu is arduous & hard going at the high altitudes, but worth every step, an experience which will stay with you forever. The chefs & porters were all amazing. Outstanding & flavorsome food was the highlight of each night at the end of the day
