The Tranvia is undoubtedly a nice alternative to bus tours of the city. It certainly has more charm and incorporates an historical perspective. We were just left a bit underwhelmed with the overall experience. First, it's difficult to impossible to find route information to help...More

We spotted the tramway while walking in Cusco and ventured to take the ride. I think the price was 30 soles. The driver is also the tourist guide and explains everything you see (in Spanish) with great detail and tons of information. It takes you...More

Especially if you get Mr. Nilo Castro as a guide, this service begins just outside of the plaza de armas at 10 AM and takes you on a full city tour of many sites for 25 soles per person. Cutest. Trolly. Ever. They also have...More

This is a nice alternative to the double decker bus. We were the only ones on the tram, no waiting around for the tour to begin. We had some time to take pictures from the great viewpoint at Christo Blanco, and a nice tour (with...More

I don't usually do tours. But I had only a short while in Cusco and was knocked out by altitude sickness, so gave it a shot. It was surprisingly delightful. I didn't catch much of what the driver said (too noisy). But it was a...More

We were just expecting the usual sight seeing tour but on a very old tram which we chose because of its character. Its bumpy and rattly but a great way to see Cusco. The old driver doesn't speak much English but tried very hard for...More

This is recent history and well worth the effort, it's a bit noisy going through the traffic but ignore that to explore less touristy areas of Cusco. Loved the commentary which as always brings the districts to life. Good fun if you have the time.

After spending a few days in Cuzco and still feeling a bit winded all the time (thanks, altitude) this was a wonderful solution to see a bit more of this magnificent city. It was certainly confusing to understand when it ran and where it stopped,...More

Old tram was spotted one rainy day in Cusco. Decided to take a ride with other two other travellers and local boy. Who we think was dumped on Tram by irate mother. This trip turned into one of the most funny memorable part of holiday....More

We were hesitant to do this trolley tour at first because it seemed too touristy for our liking, but we ended up being very glad that we did! It gives you a great tour of several areas of Cuzco, from the Plaza de Armas, to...More

Hi Michelle, Is the tour offered in English or only in Spanish? Also, how much did it cost you?

Hi! I went in 2010 so it has been awhile and sadly I can't remember. I do know that it wasn't very pricy though, and I want to say it was in English, but if not I'd still do it because they drive you up to a great lookout... More
