The Amazon River is amazing and beautiful! Full of so many amazing creatures (caiman, pink dolphins, so many fish, snakes, etc) it’s so nice to see and travel along. Don’t let fear stop you from coming, this place is beautiful !

Highly recommend you take a multi-day boat tour with a reputable company such as Amazon Explorer. Boating, canoeing, birdwatching and animal viewing in the jungle is an experience not to be missed!

NO, it is not, but it has ceiling fans which makes it tolerable. We went in October when it is fairly warm and of course humid, but after a night of sleeping it wasn't so bad. I would go to bed without any covers and wake up... More

don't know in which country that part of the amazon is in but most south American countries use ether 2 pin round some use 2 pin flat hope that helps
