SkyKitchen is all about Peruvian cuisine and food culture. You will learn about ingredients and the preparation of typical Peruvian dishes by preparing a 3 or 4 course meal by yourself. This is a hands-on cooking class under the instruction of one of our chefs. Enjoy your self-prepared dishes on a nice rooftop terrace overlooking Miraflores having a conversation with your fellow participants and the chef. Add a market tour to your cooking class and learn where most Peruvians get their fresh ingredients daily. Include a fruit tasting of more thank 35 fruits grown in Peru and discover lots of new flavours.

The class I took started at the Surquillo Market (great place where I continued going!!) to buy fruits. You learn some insights to the peruvian Kitchen and some recipes. Hosts are amazing and installation and material is superb.

Total immersion into Peruvian culture, foods, and cooking. Loved the market walk and introduction to Peruvian fruits, vegetables, meats and fish. The fruit tasting was tantalizing to the senses. I will definitely try to make the appetizer and soup at home.

We chose the full option of market tour, fruit tasting and 4-course cooking class. The cooking class/fruit tasting is available without the market tour, but I recommend the full package. If you have never been to a Latin American market, it's a great new experience....More

I am visiting Lima in Early July and I would love to take this class, however, my boyfriend only eat chicken and no other meat or fish (religious reasons). Would we still be able take this class? Are there vegetarian dishes we would be able to cook?
