This is a nice drive from Chorrillos to Miraflores. Great restaurants to eat at. I would recommend Rustica for $20 all you can eat lunch buffet drinks not included for an extra $5 a pitcher of Passionfruit (Maracuya) drink or purple corn drink Chicha Morada. Night buffet only on weekends.

The Costa Verde is in the process of being developed, with large areas fenced off while parks and attractions are built. The Pacific roars in impressively, and there were surfers there every time we passed - great fun to watch their different abilities in the roaring waves. There were also microlighters taking off from the cliffs, so lots to watch.... More

Not sure how the whole of Miraflores and Barranco do not fall into the ocean is a mystery. the dirt cliffs seem to be holding up the towns by magic....fabulous to look at, but frightening to think about.

Another nice spot along the Lima coastline to stop and enjoy the sound of the waves, with great Pacific views, this is also a go spot for people watching.

The Costa Verde is a great place to start or end a nice walk or run alongside the Pacific Ocean. The crashing waves are right there along with the smell of the sea. A peaceful place, especially early in the morning when the city is waking up.

a wonderful walkway along the top of the cliffs, over-looking the Pacific. Nice safe place to walk or sit and relax. Take great pictures of the ocean views, playgrounds for the kids. Go for an exhilarating ride on a parasail off the cliffs over the ocean, or just sit and watch.

I could travel this road many times over and never tire of it. It is so beautiful, and the pictures I've taken just don't do it justice. Peru has the most wonderful beach views.

Good waves by the looks of it down below. Lots of surfers out, looks like a good spot for long boarders and those learning how to surf. Pity I didnt bring my board and wetsuit down, maybe next time.

This is the stretch of beach road joining the Malecón, so it part of your stroll along that area. You are a couple of hundred feet above the sea, so the views and breeze are wonderful, even if it is often cloudy on the coastline. It is also a mecca for local surfers who take to the water for the... More
