Walk around and receive impressions of that ancient beatuiful place near Lima. It is a very good location... Mainly if you are not going anywhere else in Peru.

This archeological site is very big. There is a museum which shows the history of the site. There are reconstructed buildings and an old graveyard with bones and all. Nice trip for half a day.

Very cool place to visit. I walked instead of taking a ride in the complex. It takes about 2 hours to walk entire complex. If you are staying near Lima Center, you can take southbound San Bartolo bus for 3 soles at Grau. Takes about...More

I felt we paid to much for what was offered in the tour. It is a must see. IT may have been the tour guide but I thought it was too much for what we got. We had a private tour.

The museum is excellent and the ruins very interesting. If you are in Lima for an extended amount of time, stop by for a visit and see these ruins.

I enjoyed my visit to this outdoor museum. Lots to learn such as there were several cultures before the better known Incan culture. There is a fair amount of walking and not always on level ground, just as a warning.

I would recommend hiring a tour guide who can provide transportation and a narrative so you know what you're seeing. It's not expensive and definitely worth it.
