Chorrillos is not a safe area. I was robbed at gunpoint yesterday at the foot of this hill/mountain. Be very wary of your surroundings and DO NOT speak to strangers. Stick to Miraflores and you will be in safe hands. Trust me, because I am...More

Can see this at night high on the headland. no need to visit. enjoy the night viewing when on the board walk. Some times you drive past it on your group city tour. Saw it when part of a group tour.

You can see the cross from the boardwalk along Miraflores. When the sun goes down, it is a stunning view from the distance. A beautiful cultural tidbit from a Christian country.

This is just a nice lighted cross. Just another little decoration to the lighted city of Miraflores and Barronco. Nothing really to see or do. Just take a nice picture

We could see the lighted cross from anywhere in Miraflores or Barranco, it's a nice touch. Up close though, it's just that - a big lighted cross. Nothing to really go visit, but nice to have it there. It's set on a cliff in Chorrillos...More
