This past weekend, I had the incredible chance to do this hike with my friends. It was just stunning! The hike took us about 40 minutes to go up, but we also kept stopping to take pictures. The trail was not crowded at all. We...More

Great place to catch the sunset, but be aware that it is supposed to close at 4 .30 pm. But that is not written in stone. Steep stone, not necessarily steps, with handrails is the way up. Worth it though. Grain stores are magnificent. Free...More

This is a really interesting place to visit in Ollantaytambo. The granary is located on the mountain side high above the town and it provides an excellent view of the surrounding area. Great place for photos but be aware it is not a cake walk...More

The graneries up top are pretty cool. I came to the sacred valley 20 years ago, and the crowds were nothing like they are now. You could basically explore wherever you wanted among all the ruins. This site is still like that - no restrictions...More

We enjoyed this easier than MP hikes with great views of an important Inca site. Unlike all the other hikes this is free. So even if you don't want to go all the way up you can get halfway to enjoy some silence and peace...More

These ruins are located in the steep mountainside close to the center of Ollantaytambo. If you walk from the main square, its about 20 minutes +/- approx. The trail is pretty steep, and some parts/steps might be a bit deep for some. I still believe...More

It definitely is strenuous and high, so only go up if you're willing to go the distance (and stairs!) the videos are fabulous and totally worth it!

This archeological site is actually free! It's a moderately challenging hike up to the graineries. There is far more to see than you can see from below so worth the hike going both to the graineries, up to the peak and over to the buildings...More
