The train ride part was fun as we rattled along past local villages and farms seeing a different side of Fiji. The tracks are overgrown and we did get covered in leaves and a few bugs but it added to the adventure. There was a...More

It took us a good 45 minutes taxi ride to this place that cost $160 return from Naviti resort. Ride was to a small town called Sigatoka. Apart from overgrown bushes along the rail tracks, hardly anything to view. It would have been a trip...More

The on board guide, Nicky, was excellent in interacting with all the children and providing information as we made the journey. It was poignant to handout / throw lollies to the children as we passed through their village. The brochure for the attraction, as I...More

We have two young children and they lived the train ride. The kids also loved visiting the kindergarten. Also loved visiting the village where they got to play with the children. All in all a very good day.

We had a lovely ride into the town of Sigatoka on board the rattly old red train, but it gave us a good view of life in Fiji either side of the tracks. Seeing the children in the Kindergarten was interesting and cute. When you...More

Hi, we stayed at the Shangri-la and did this trip. We were picked up by a mini-van that took us to the station which is right on the main road at the entrance to the Shangri-La.
